Beyond Basics Workshop Series

Are you interested in yoga, but find the thought of attending even a 'basics' class to be intimidating? Do you have an existing practice, but feel like the foundational knowledge of the practice is missing? Then this is for YOU!

In this four week series, we will start with gentle yoga and work our way up to standing and introductory balancing postures. We will talk about what to expect when you come to class, the benefits of the practice, what props we use and when to use them, and how to do beginner postures. This series will serve as a foundation to any beginner practice as well as a reminder of the fundamentals of yoga for experienced students.

Students should wear comfortable clothing and bring water and a mat if you have one. If you don’t have a mat, we have plenty you can borrow. All other props will be provided.
